Henri Delbard® is a vibrant and deeply expressive rose created by Georges Delbard as a tribute to Henri Delbard, one of the most influential figures in French horticulture and the historic leader of the Delbard rose family legacy.
This variety forms a compact, elegant shrub reaching 80 to 100 cm in height, ideal for borders, flower beds, or container planting. Its bright green deciduous foliage highlights beautifully shaped buds that open into large, fully double blooms of around 10 to 11 cm, carrying the unmistakable charm of old-fashioned roses.
The flowers glow in a luminous orange-yellow tone, bringing warmth and brilliance to the garden. Its intense fragrance is described as exotic and rich, adding a powerful sensory dimension to its generous repeat flowering display from May until the first frosts.
Both vigorous and easy to grow, Henri Delbard® adapts well to all well-drained soils, thrives in full sun, and offers very good natural disease resistance. It is also recognised internationally for its remarkable perfume, having received multiple fragrance prizes in prestigious competitions.
Supplied as strong 1-year-old plants in 5L containers.
